Last month, I attended the anniversary of Strega’s 150th Anniversary in NYC. One of drinks served with Strega was called: Valentino. It was fantastic! When I went home, I thought I had a bottle of the classic Strega in my cabinet. I will be serving Valentinos with friends tomorrow night. 1 measure of Strega liqueur, 2 measures of orange juice and top with sparkling wine! I was at my mother’s over the weekend. One of my favorites is when she slow cooks ribs in her homemade tomatoe sauce! A great way to cook ribs and enjoy with a hearty dish of of your favorite pasta. It’s perfect with a glass of red wine….here’s a toast to ‘mamma mia’ ! You can also find this recipe in my book! maria !
